Provenance: Although nothing could be found relating to young Ann Wilkinson, her surname is of Anglo-Saxon origins which can be found in the Celtic countries of Ireland, Scotland and Wales since medieval times. The rich bold colors, placement of repetitive motifs in a well balanced, symmetrical order and the thick undulating bands all suggest this to be a Scottish sampler. The original measures 15 inches x 18 inches stitched on 34 x 30 count unevenweave linen. The model was stitched in the muted colors due to the passage of time though many are still vibrant on this gorgeous sampler even after the passage of nearly 185 years. Ann Wilkinson 1834" The model was stitched on 36 count Vintage Sand Dune by Lakeside Linens, using 1 strand over 2 threads.

  • Patterns generally arrive within a month of their release (Market and Expo times can cause variation). New releases can be about a month while existing releases may only take a few days as they are simply being restocked.
  • Fabric will be dyed to order and time varies between the Dyers. Generally between 4-12 weeks.
  • Threads generally arrive within a few days to a month.
  • Should you want to cancel any items within your order, you will only be refunded in store credit less a restocking fee. 
  • If I cannot fulfill your order due to supply issues or discontinuance, I will refund your original payment method and contact you for alternatives. 

Preorder & Special order items are NOT IN STOCK and will ship within 2 business days of arrival. If you order these items and other in stock items, your entire order will ship when your FULL ORDER is in stock. Please contact me if you need items from your order sooner, we can work on it together.

Refunds for cancelling any item with Preorder in the title, will be issued as a Store Credit less a 30% restocking fee. All cancellations are refunded in Store Credit only.

Postage & Handling is not refundable as it is a service that is not refundable once a shipment is mailed and accepted by the carrier
