This chart is an accurate reproduction of Elizabeth WoodÕs sampler stitched in 1822. A photo of the antique sampler is included in the package.

The antique sampler measures 13-3/4-inches wide by 17-1/4-inches high. Elizabeth stitched it with silk threads on uneven-weave linen of 32 threads per inch horizontally and 30 threads per inch vertically.

I chose to stitch my reproduction on 35 count linen, which makes my model slightly smaller than ElizabethÕs original. I put my reproduction in an octagon-shaped frame like Elizabeth did. You might decide to do the same, or you could use a rectangular frame and hem the edges of the sampler or mount your sampler with an octagonal mat.

The model was stitched using Needlepoint Silks silk thread on 35 count Cornstalk linen from Weeks Dye Works, Inc. making the stitched area 12-1/2 inches wide x 14-3/4 inches high.

Terms & Conditions for Preorders and Special Order items-

  • Patterns generally arrive within a month of their release (Market, Expo, and Marketplace times can cause variation). New releases can be about a month while existing releases may only take a few days as they are simply being restocked.
  • Fabric will be dyed to order and time varies between the Dyers. Generally between 4-12 weeks.
  • Threads generally arrive within a few days to a month.
  • Should you want to cancel any items within your order, you will only be refunded in store credit less a restocking fee. 
  • If I cannot fulfill your order due to supply issues or discontinuance, I will refund your original payment method and contact you for alternatives. 

Preorder & Special order items are NOT IN STOCK and will ship within 2 business days of arrival. If you order these items and other in stock items, your entire order will ship when your FULL ORDER is in stock. Please contact me if you need items from your order sooner, we can work on it together. 

Cancellations

Refunds for cancelling any item will be issued as a Store Credit less a 30% restocking fee. All cancellations are refunded in Store Credit only.

Postage & Handling is not refundable as it is a service that is not refundable once a shipment is mailed and accepted by the carrier
