This little box, which measures nearly four inches, is the perfect size for holding your needlework tools. Place it on a table next to you when stitching or pack it up to take to your favorite stitching event. The verse on the box top, My needle does my heart engage, was taken from an old sampler verse.

Inside the box are a pincushion (on the lid) and four pockets which hold an embroidered needlebook and two embroidered threadwinders. Included in the package on directions for making a scissors weight. Also shown in the photo are a mother of pearl ruler and Seaton scissors from Kelmscott Designs.

The model was stitched on 32 count Antique Ivory linen from Zweigart using silk threads from Classic Colorworks (Belle Soie), Gloriana Threads, Needlepoint Silks, and DMC Ecru tatting thread. DMC color substitutions are provided.

Preorder & Special Order Information

Terms & Conditions for Preorders and Special Order items-

  • Patterns generally arrive within a month of their release (Market, Expo, and Marketplace times can cause variation). New releases can be about a month while existing releases may only take a few days as they are simply being restocked.
  • Fabric will be dyed to order and time varies between the Dyers. Generally between 6-18 weeks.
  • Threads generally arrive within a few days to a month.
  • Should you want to cancel any items within your order, it will be subject to our cancellation policies. 
  • If I cannot fulfill your order due to supply issues or discontinuance, I will refund your original payment method and contact you for alternatives. 

Preorder & Special order items are NOT IN STOCK and will ship within 2 shop business days of arrival. If you order these items and other in stock items, your entire order will ship when your FULL ORDER is in stock. Please contact me if you need items from your order sooner, we can work on it together. 

Cancellations

Refunds for cancelling any in stock item will be issued as a Store Credit less a 30% restocking fee. Cancellations for Peeorder and Special items are subject to an 50% cancellation fee. All cancellations are refunded in Store Credit only.

Postage & Handling is not refundable as it is a service that is not refundable once a shipment is mailed and accepted by the carrier
