Quaker Sampling III, like its predecessors, Quaker Sampling I and II, was inspired by the samplers from Ackworth School, one of the most famous Quaker schools, located in Yorkshire in northern England. In addition to the chart, the package includes a short essay on Ackworth School and its needlework.

The model was stitched in cross stitch over two linen threads using one ply of Cranberry silk thread from Gloriana Threads on 36 count Maritime White linen from Lakeside Linens, Inc. I used two 6-yard skeins with no thread left over. I strongly recommend that you buy three 6-yard skeins to guarantee that you will have enough thread from the same dyelot. Gloriana threads have 12 plies per strand.

Terms & Conditions for Preorders and Special Order items-

  • Patterns generally arrive within a month of their release (Market, Expo, and Marketplace times can cause variation). New releases can be about a month while existing releases may only take a few days as they are simply being restocked.
  • Fabric will be dyed to order and time varies between the Dyers. Generally between 4-12 weeks.
  • Threads generally arrive within a few days to a month.
  • Should you want to cancel any items within your order, you will only be refunded in store credit less a restocking fee. 
  • If I cannot fulfill your order due to supply issues or discontinuance, I will refund your original payment method and contact you for alternatives. 

Preorder & Special order items are NOT IN STOCK and will ship within 2 business days of arrival. If you order these items and other in stock items, your entire order will ship when your FULL ORDER is in stock. Please contact me if you need items from your order sooner, we can work on it together. 

Cancellations

Refunds for cancelling any item will be issued as a Store Credit less a 30% restocking fee. All cancellations are refunded in Store Credit only.

Postage & Handling is not refundable as it is a service that is not refundable once a shipment is mailed and accepted by the carrier
