This sweet little sampler can be attached to an antique wooden bobbin, framed, or made into a pillow. Perhaps you have other ideas. I hope youÕll change the girlÕs hair, eye, and skin colors to match your own. Perhaps you might also want the change to color of her dress to your favorite color.

Charts are included for three slightly different sampler versions of various dimensions. Antique bobbins vary in size, so instructions guide you to match one of the charts with fabric of the necessary thread count so that your sampler will fit your bobbin. The bobbin used on the model is 8 inches tall. The bobbin barrel (rod) is 7 inches long and has a circumference of 5-3/8 inches, but bobbins of other dimensions can be used.

You can use either linen or Aida if you are making a framed sampler or a pillow, but I recommend using linen if you want to attach your sampler to a bobbin. The model was stitched on 36 count Pecan Butter linen from Lakeside Linens & Designs, Inc. using silk threads from Needlepoint Silks and Gloriana..

Preorder & Special Order Information

Terms & Conditions for Preorders and Special Order items-

  • Patterns generally arrive within a month of their release (Market, Expo, and Marketplace times can cause variation). New releases can be about a month while existing releases may only take a few days as they are simply being restocked.
  • Fabric will be dyed to order and time varies between the Dyers. Generally between 6-18 weeks.
  • Threads generally arrive within a few days to a month.
  • Should you want to cancel any items within your order, it will be subject to our cancellation policies. 
  • If I cannot fulfill your order due to supply issues or discontinuance, I will refund your original payment method and contact you for alternatives. 

Preorder & Special order items are NOT IN STOCK and will ship within 2 shop business days of arrival. If you order these items and other in stock items, your entire order will ship when your FULL ORDER is in stock. Please contact me if you need items from your order sooner, we can work on it together. 

Cancellations

Refunds for cancelling any in stock item will be issued as a Store Credit less a 30% restocking fee. Cancellations for Peeorder and Special items are subject to an 50% cancellation fee. All cancellations are refunded in Store Credit only.

Postage & Handling is not refundable as it is a service that is not refundable once a shipment is mailed and accepted by the carrier
